What Was New in 2021?

It’s that time again, the time when we all get ready to take a break, indulge, reflect on the year gone by, and say thank you for sticking with us. 2021 was a big year as we took some small and fairly large steps towards building a better brand and customer experience.

For a Better Customer Experience

  • We worked on a new, cleaner brand design, so we look good and are easier to navigate.
  • It seems obvious in hindsight, but your shopping cart is now saved between sessions. Go feed your cat and come back. All your items will still be waiting in your cart.
  • You can now pay with Apple & Google Pay in select locations.
  • 5 more local currencies are now supported: CAD, SAR, BRL, ILS, QAR.

For Your Online Presence

  • We found domain hacks & more for you on our new blog (you know this if you are already reading this 😉 )
  • Unlimited Hosting is here: Grow with more space and bandwidth, at no extra cost.
  • You are already a loyal hosting customer? Go get your free upgrade.

For People & the Planet

  • For every Kakapo Hosting plan sold, we donate 10%  of the revenue to the recovery of the endangered Kakapo.
  • After the floods in Europe, we held a fundraiser to support those affected.
  • We offset our carbon emissions by investing in clean energy.
