Our New Hosting is Here. It’s Unlimited & Helps Conserve Kakapos!
We are pleased to announce the launch of our new hosting plans at OnlyDomains. We have been working for months behind the scenes to improve our hosting offering and are glad to see it hit the shelves.
These plans offer a lot more vs. our previous plans – more webspace, more bandwidth at the most competitive price. We recently moved to AWS which allows us to maintain our costs while offering a lot more to you.
You don’t need to worry about running out of space or hitting any limits with these. And as always, these include all you need to host your website & set up professional email on your domain.
Our New & Improved Plans
Here is a preview of the new plans, already available on our website. Oh, and you have the option to host your website in Los Angeles, Florida, Sydney, Singapore or London. We recommend picking a location that’s closest to your website visitors.
You can choose from 3 different variants depending on your needs:
- Global Web Hosting: When you want to build a website, this also allows you to set up business email whenever you are ready for it
- Email Hosting: When you would like to start with a branded email address (e.g. hello@yourdomain.com). This plan also allows you to host a website
- WordPress Hosting: These plans use the same solid infrastructure as the above and have WordPress pre-installed on them, so you don’t spend time setting it up and can focus on more important things

What’s with Kiwi, Kea, Kakapo?
While we are now a part of the global CentralNic Group and offer global hosting, we would like to pay homage to our roots in New Zealand. Our new hosting plans are named after remarkable native birds from the region.
We also donate 10% of all Kakapo plan sales to New Zealand’s Department of Conservation (DOC) to help save our favourite fat parrot – the Kakapo. There are only 201 of them left. This launch is more special as it coincided with the conservation week being recognized by the DOC.
What if You Already Host with OnlyDomains?
If you already host your website or emails with us, you have the option to upgrade to these new plans.
Existing customers can upgrade to any of these new plans free of charge, for their existing plan duration.
You can do this directly from your OnlyDomains customer account.
Login to your account and go to Hosting >> My Hosting on the navigation bar on the left. You’ll then see the list of your hosting orders with an UPGRADE button next to it. Just click on it and select the new plan you want to upgrade to.
As of November, 2021, upgrades are FREE for your current plan duration and will renew at the new plan prices.
